Little Missouri Falls

Here's one that I worked up in black and white. I feel like I am somewhat lacking in the black and white department so C&C appreciated.

it does seem a little dark to me.

I like the way you composed this, Jon, but as Matt mentioned, it does seem a bit dark.

nicely composed, a little dark - you might be able to pull in the right slider under the histogram then mask the effect from the highlights in the water. they look like they may be on the verge of blowing.

looks like a fun spot to shoot. or just spend the day!

Hey Jon. Nice composition of an inviting location. It seems to me the dark feeling to this is due to the b&w conversion method you've used. Perhaps a different b&w conversion would give you a different look. Thanks for sharing.
