I hope someone didn't post this last week while I was out on vacation, but I thought I would share this link. Very sad stuff, but it is good to be aware.

Thanks for posting this...I had not seen this before and now I'm sad and frustrated all over again.

Ick.

FWIW, I was in the Florida panhandle last week and they are oil free. It looks like Louisiana is getting the worst of it.

Very very sad that this had to happen and no fix in sight.

The CEOs of BP and a few former members of the executive office (2000-2008 + someones Daddy) should be out there cleaning up their mess. Some jail time would be real nice too.

Good grief....who's watch did this occur on, Pam?

Might want to go and check your facts there before posting something stupid!

First of all, I didn't intend to hijack this thread. Just stating my thoughts like the rest of you about the oil disaster. Second, I do check facts. Third, thank you Brian for the "stupid" remark....I really appreciate that.

Copy and paste this link. The install dates coincide with GWB and his cronies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepwater_Horizon

"Second, I do check facts."
Oh, really?

From Wikipedia--
"Designed originally for R&B Falcon, Deepwater Horizon (rig) was built by Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan, South Korea. Construction started in December 1998"

From Pamela Colander--
"When it was built...George Dubba-ya's."

Construction started in 1998 and was INSTALLED in 2001.

Sorry Pam, I didn't mean to come at you. I apologize. But you really need to re-check your facts. This is not the place but I'm more than happy to help you get the right facts. You might want to check who approved this well hint Ken Sal?? and how it was approved. I just am sick of the Bush bashing on with 0 facts.
