Snow in the Buttermilks
I got snowed on in the Buttermilks yesterday morning. It was beautiful! The combination of wildflowers and snow was pretty special. Here are some bloom right at the base of Mt Tom.

This is very special, Anish! I long for compositions like
this where I can have the effects of two seasons in one
image.

Love these May storms! I was up there just over a week ago, but no new snow. Looks like Mammoth will stay open until the 4th of July. Really like the purple flowers in the snow here. Nicely done.

Well Anish looks like you got some pretty special conditions on your trip. Hang onto your hats there's another Gulf of Alaska Express out there. Great image, any ideas on the flowers.

What neat conditions! Glad you were able to be there to witness this, and share it here. I love the red/white contrast.
