I will be traveling to Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks July 9th-19th. I already have the camping planned but I am looking for suggestions on photo books and/or photo locations. I have been to Yellowstone and Teton as a kid but never Glacier. Thanks for any help in advance!
Jason, Before leaving for Yellowstone and Tetons log onto YNet Forum and you'll see current reports on where the wildlife is currently active along with photos.

I gotta say I'm a little surprised that over 100 people have looked and only 1 response. I know some of the folks here have been there. Having never been there to shoot before, all I can recommend are places I've heard others in the forum talk about and pictures I've seen of those places.....
1. Oxbow Bend
2. Moulton barn
3. Schwabachers (sp) Landing
4. I did take a couple snapshots at Jenny Lake and that has some potential.
I have no ideas on Glacier Natl Park...maybe look at Jesse Speers' website.
Maybe Jesse Speer or one of the Montana guys can chime in. I don't know of any books off hand Jason...Good luck.
I have never been to any of these places but am planning to go to Yellowstone and Grand Teton this weekend. I have borrowed a book from the local library on photgraphing yellowstone and the Tetons which you can have a look at (links below). Other than that I do have a book by Tim Fitzharris which lists the famous photographic locations of a few national parks, Yellowstone and Grand Teton is there in the book. Hope this helps.
The places to visit in Yellowstone are: Lamar Valley, Hayden Valley, Swan Lake Flats, Upper and Lower Geyser Basins, Especially Old Faithful, Great Fountain Drive, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Yellowstone Lake. I can't really give you specifics unless you tell me exactly what your after. The Tim Fitzharris book that Soubhik mentioned is a very good book.
To follow up on my last reply. I spend a month or two in the YNP/Teton areas a year. Scenics are best in the Tetons with a mix of wildlife especially Moose. YNP is great for wildlife and some scenic shooting especially waterfalls and of course geyser basins etc.
The scenic shooting in the Tetons is best in the morning. Most of your icons are first light and early morning especially during the time of year your going. I've been to Glacier a couple of times and the scenic shooting is tremendous. Hopefully this will be a good year for bear grass and wildflowers in that area.
If you want specifics especially on the Teton area fire me off an E-mail.

There are a few suggestions already listed above, but we might be able to round it out a bit if we know what you're interested in.
