Hope Arch
I took a long weekend off a couple of weekends ago and spent it at Canyon de Chelly. Two days of strong winds put quite the damper on photos...but all is not lost. A couple of trips to the nearby Hope Arch salvaged the weekend. This was the last morning I was there, before the long drive home.

While this is an ideal morning location, the afternoon before wasn't too bad...

Those are cool shots, Bob, especially that first one. I've wanted to shoot this since running across a pic of it probably a decade ago.

Nice composition on the first, and the clear blue sky complements the sandstone very nicely.
Nice catch, Bob!

Nice work. Like #1 better.

FYI: IMO the second one would look better with a little curves adjustment layer work. It looks flatter than I think the image can be. Look at the punch and the more vibrant colors in the first. I think the second can have that, too.

Really like the way the lines in the first image lead the viewer into the image.

I like the comp of the first one. Well done.
