Due East
I shot this group of boulders on top of this granite plateau a couple weeks ago and just got a chance today to process it. The odd pharaoh looking head is facing directly into the sunrise. Thank you again for the comments I received on my previously posted image.

Hey, I know that guy! Sweet light here, Paul, the light and simplicity brings out the rock, and the character, wonderfully. Nice work!

Paul, what a great image! Its straight out of Egypt. The light really brings out the texture of the rock. Very nice.

There's a face on it! Looks just like that.

Cool face in the rock! It reminds me of Jimmy. Nice, simple image.

With all the different tones, it might be fun to convert to B&W and see if it works?

Ditto for all of the previously made compliments. I like the
simplicity of this plus the warm light.

Paul,

This is a great image in so many ways. First the graphic simplicity is strong, yet the colors are soft and varied. The light is sweet and the comp is strong, even with the amount of empty space in the rock and sky. It all works together nicely.
