Another Flint Hills Sunset
Taken last night not far from my home.

The daisies are in bloom.

This is not an overlay or HDR but shot with a graduated SingRay filter.

Nikon D300 [been 5 weeks without my D700 in for repair, ugh]

Wonderful job Larry! Great use of the filter and what a wonderful field of daisy's. I have seen lots of "Ox Eyed' in bloom the last few weeks.

Hey you don't need no D700 to make great pictures! But yeah I know it sure will be nice to get back. A wise man once said, "The best camera to take pictures with is the one you have in your hand". Well I don't really know if it was a wise man or not, but I have heard it many times.

Great work, Larry, I love the sky in your shot.

Nice shot Larry, love the sky. Was this a hard edge or soft edge filter?

I'd love to find a field of daisies like that. I need a note or something to get out of work for a few weeks so I can roam around and take pictures.

Now that's a lovey sky and a fine composition. This is my favorite image of yours.

I'll the the number of the SingRay filter for those who have asked.
From memory it is a rapid gradient and the density is 2 or 3.
I'll give the exact number.
These are expensive and they have quite a selection.
I use the large size, hand held. It will fit over a Nikon 18-24, too. That's the one with the large lens, for the non-Nikon savvy photographers.

Great image Larry. They say you can get the same results by blending different exposures, but I've got my doubts after looking at your shot.

Looks great Larry, this might be my favorite image of yours as well.
