Hi all, hope you are enjoying the fine weather!? I've just returned from a glorious few days in Mid and North Wales. This image is of the Sun setting over the beautifull Lake Vyrnwy in Powys. All comments and critiques are most welcome!!

I know nothing of landscape images, but what I do see is a stunning image. Gorgeous sky colours reflected into the water, which makes a great lead into the hills beyond. Very nice Paul.

Echo the above Paul, lovely serene scene... I would prefer a more pano crop and losing some of the sky....

Pano would work well as Phil suggests.Would like to see a tadge more detail in the lake banksides.

Lovely colours but agree with the others - you could do with losing some sky and finding more detail in the dark areas. As it is the large areas of black make it too heavy for my taste.

I would like to see a pano as well. Maybe take a bit off the bottom and see how that works first.

Great image with bags of atmosphere superb afterglow in the sky, well processed.

I'm in the pano crop camp (as always), but still think this is a lovely image.

Hi Paul,

Lovely scene, well taken! I agree with the nits already covered re pano crop and dark areas. Must have been a great experience to look over that!

Cheers,

Lewis.
