Storm Clouds
I shot this cloud formation this evening from my back yard. The clouds were "boiling" and moving fast. I got off a few quick shots before the moon disappeared behind the clouds.
Thanks for looking.

Cool! The inclusion of the moon makes it even more interesting.

Hey Merle, nice thunderhead and as Angela pointed out the moon is a nice touch.

Very pretty to look at but I'm glad I wasn't underneath that bad boy. There was definitely some torrential rain between your place and KC last night.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I know I have been MIA lately - but I have been busy with life and not enough time to pick up the camera. Drew; you are right - If you were looking toward Fulton at approx. 7:34 last night - this is the cloud....

By the way - I know I haven't left comments on the last few Flint Hills shots - Man - it sure looks a lot nicer than it did when we were all there !!!! They are all very well done and show the area at it best.

Wow, what a massive thunderhead, and some beautiful late afternoon light to boot. And the moon adds a really nice element to the scene. Nice work on this one, Merle

Very nice Merle. I love the lighting on the clouds, and I like how they're framed by the darker sky and foreground.

Great capture with wonderful elements. The light is incredible in that boomer. :toast:

Merle,
Great shot. All the elements together make this a sure wall hanger.

Only thing that would add to it would be the smell of a tri tip on the grill!
