A lovely image, however I must agree with Mark, on a Portrait comp!

I also agree with Mark. Otherwise a lovely shot, with very nice light.

Not at all sure about the crop, but colours are lovely Keith. It has very early morning feel to it. I think probably portrait with some off the left or maybe even landscape with some more on the right, but square is def the worst option for me. It's a lovely shot though.

I would vote for portrait too. Lovely subdued colour palette :toast:

Portrait I reckon but that may not leave much top and bottom, unless its a big crop.
Lovely light.

I like the complimentary BG and the soft light in this Keith, very serene.

The soft lighting really works well with this image.

Good detail and background. Not sure if the crop works as it is though. It would be better as a portrait I think.

Lovely soft lighting and feel to the overall shot. I would probably take a slice off the right hand side of the image.

Very delicate lighting and I like the cool tones. Format suits me - quite nice sometimes to see a change from the normal H or V. The bird looking in to the empty rhs space is very appealing.

I think those muted colours are what make this shot.. Nicely exposed and maybe a different comp as suggested.
