Junk (not nature)
Joshua Tree NP - Keys Ranch

I tried using CS4 merge to HDR on this one and it worked out surprisingly well. I will play with that option every now and then just see if I can get anything usable. 4 bracketed shots to cover the whole range here at 2 stops apart. I used some high pass sharpening to bring out the texture and hopefully it doesn't get the viewer to stare at the rat droppings too much

Very cool. I love this kind of stuff.

Some very fine dynamic range on this difficult shot, Steve. This vehicle might be left over from the old Sanford and Son show.

Looks like a 46 Dodge Business Coupe a little worse for the wear. You know what they say it's not the years it's the mileage.

Steve,
Interesting junk... creatively done. I like the framing and the HDR is balanced nicely. Best Regards.

Steve,

Great image in all aspects - subject matter, comp, exposure/range and processing. This has Harley's name written all over it and I'm guessing he's already emailed you about the location...

Cool find.
