Just going back through a few images that I haven't processed, and thought I'd see if this one works for anyone besides me. Late afternoon - Richland Creek WA.
Hey Bill, This definitely works for me. I like the blending of the soft colors and how the dogwoods in the lower left lead the eye in and then up to the redbuds and on out of the shot. The grays and dark colors on the trees add just enough contrast to give some strength to the overall feel of the shot.
As one of my grandsons would say, "Cool Beans".....
Not only are the various colors of the leaves nice, you've got some of the same colors in different light. I might crop off the bottom to eliminate the lowest white blooms but that's about it. Very nice work Bill.
I'd love to see this as a big print. However, I might add that I feel my eye being pulled to the background... I suspect because it's so crisp that I'm looking for what might be back there. It might be a stronger image if the flowers didn't have to compete for attention.
Thanks for the nice comments. It sure seemed like the peak dogwood/redbud bloom went quickly this year, making great comps hard to come by - for me at least.
