This is a great shot.
I like the gold-brown gravel color with the white and tint of green of the water.
The texture of the rock contrast nicely with the silky water.
Do you have a vertical shot?

Nice work Drew. I like the way the two areas of white water combined with the copper colored rocks in the water form a triangle and cause my eye to move around the shot.

thanks again, i got a raging case of poison oak and an infected tick bite to show for it. on steroids and antibiotics now...lol

Nice shot, hope the poison ivy clears up quickly.

Beautiful color and setting, Drew. The only thing that I find a little distracting is the boulder to the right of the lower cascade. The straight vertical fracture is a magnet to my eye, and separates the flow from the upper cascade. Did you set up to the left for any shots?

not for this one bill, and i agree it is an odd angle on that rock. i have the same issue.

Boy I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing the pull of the strange vertical formation of that rock. There is some wonderful color and detail in this shot. Sorry to hear about your ivy & tick problem. Get well soon.
