Old Growth
I've been working on my B&W conversion techniques. This is a reworked image from a photograph taken a few years ago near the base of Lower Yosemite Falls. Comments would be appreciated.

Great job on the conversion. The rocks, roots and water make an interesting combination of textures.

Very nice. This really works well as a B&W. The image compositon, with the diagonal border between water and bank, is very effective, as well.

As noted this makes an excellent B&W, I love the water and diagonal flow and find the knarled tree roots over the rock a very interesting component. Nice job! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Really beautiful composition. Love all the textures working together in this intimate photo that tells a much bigger story about ancient forests.

Really nice contrast of the water movement and the old growth tree movement...B&W works well here.
