North of Town
I have had very little time to go out and shoot lately, just too many other projects and responsibilities. I have enjoyed all the post from you folks, nice work! This shot of an oak tree is in a field north of Hillsboro. The weather has been wet... I took this while my son and I where driving home from one of the projects I'm working on. My son was driving... Its raining pretty hard and we are driving about 50mph.

Matthew, for some reason I'm having mixed feelings about this shot. Nice mood with the fog but the bright sky and the dark tree, I'm not sure if they work together. A little more detail in the tree?

I agree with Eric on the exposure, but taken from a car moving 50 mph, ISO cranked up to 1250 and I don't know how old your son is but with all that going on I'm amazed you could pay any attention at all to the details of taking a photgraph! You've done well.
