Golden Oriole
I have just spent a few days on Inishbofin in Co.Galway and this bird turned up. The fifth record over the last 30 odd years on this island. Photographed from the kitchen of the holiday cottage I was staying in. Very secretive and usually hidden in the foliage.

Hi Craig,

Very nice shot, great species to have on file. Lucky you having this in the garden of the cottage you were staying in! I'm off to Inishbofin at the end of September and cannot wait, absolutely love the west coast of Ireland.

Cheers,

Lewis.
