Seems like I must be the last person on earth to find fox kits...and that is owed to Bob Karcz (thanks Bob), for inviting me up to Summit county to photograph a variety of subjects including Osprey and a nesting Bald Eagle pair. Bob is a class act (despite what both Dave and Rod say about him ). Anyhow, I am soooo behind on processing images. I also have several hundred images to go through from anouther couple days at Pawnee Butte. Took the week off work and got back all my gear from Canon!!
I probably have better images, but have well over 1,000 images, very tired, so will post others later once I am rejuvenated. Thanks for looking!
One of the Balds...they were far off, excuse the lower detail....took with a 500mm and a 2x tc with a cable release to keep everything still. Even with that, this is about 25% of full frame.
The first two are just precious. The Osprey is grand. Wait, Grand Ole Osprey. Seriously it is a dynamic shot. The eagle's attitude is just great. Seems to be saying, "I'm not a morning person." Outstanding work, Kurt.
These are all truly excellent, Kurt!
The osprey is indeed a remarkable capture, while the rest are superb portraits of our wildlife.
I look forward to seeing many more from this outing!
Kurt- Just a great angle on the fox kit and great action on the Osprey. I'm one of those guys who hasn't found fox kits yet, so I'll take that torch. I'll find them someday.

BTW, you're not the last person to find/photograph fox kits. That would be me.
