Whilst spending fruitless hours waiting for non appearing fox cubs I had to content myself with watching the numerous young rabbits around. They would spend most of the time eating, often out in the open but would then retire under some cover for a quick brush up followed by a nap in a sunny spot. Interestingly they would usually sit with the sun behind them. Presumably this would be to warm themselves without being dazzled or disturbed by the sun in their eyes.
Although the shots taken in the open were more 'isolated' and less cluttered I quite liked the more intimate feeling of the surrounding vegetation in this image.

Great image, love the detail and the expression - captures the little beast beautifully in its typical habitat. My only nit would be ? bit more room below bunny - but a minor point.
Agree a bit more room below, great light that has been handled well, I'm not too keen that it appears to be chewing on the OOF branch coming in from the left.
Hi Robert
Its bunny time again !
Lovely shot. Especially with the red lugs !
I agree with Phil about the branch but hey what a job working around those whiskers !! In fact there's a challenge - remove the branch without affecting the whiskers ! Winner gets rabbit stew !
Cheers
