Whitethroat
We seem to have a quite a few whitethroats in my area, I have found a few nest sites and and set up were they forage for food to get the image

Very sharp eye contact Ron, and a subject I've yet to see or photograph :)

Hi Ron,

A great species to work on! I would loose a bit from the top and would like a bit more below personally. Whats gone on above the Whitethroats back, looks like some pretty substantial removal work?

Cheers,

Lewis.

A nice pose and you have captured a great expression with the catchlight in the eye. I know it's very difficult to get a clear shot of these as they spend so much time in cover but I find the background a bit too distracting on this one, especially the sky showing to the right of the birds head and that 'whatever' that is going on behind its back.
