I had a different shot in mind for Saturday morning that involved the moon. I had hopes of taking advantage of it setting pretty far South but it turned out to be to far South. Oh well lesson learned. I photographed a bunch of the fisherman in the early morning fog. Here is my favorite from the morning. By the way waste deep in the Little Red at 7 a.m. is painfully cold.
Thanks Tom, this is a great river for beams like this with the fog. Drew the waders would be great but I would have to take them off and put them on and carry them around and that sounds like work. For now I guess my feet will be wet.
I often hike in neoprene knee high dry boots.. They are made for hunters. They have a good hiking sole and allow me at least knee high access to waterways. But they are rubber soled and can be slick on rocks. Now i also bring felt sole neoprene kickers. They stick to slick rocks like GLUE but you get wet. I think though i am like you i cannot stay out of the water.
Awesome shot Matt, I really love it. I would crop the bottom some and a little off the left side then add more contrast see how it looks. Its a great shot I think it would be even stronger then.
