Mountain Bluebird and More
Busy day today. Photographed this mtn bluebird and ptarmigan on Mt Evans, then photographed some kayakers in Golden this evening. Thanks for looking.

And one of the kayakers...

Cool shots! The camouflage on those two birds is remarkable.

According to the news I saw tonight, you could've followed up your kayaker photos with some shots of fire crews working somewhere near Golden.

Great work all around, Dan. I love the composition of that 1st one and #2 is just so unique.

Love the blue on blue in that first one, and the action in the second and third. Great shots!

Thanks for sharing. Your bluebird blends beautifully with the sky; and you captured the kayaker's coolness under pressure.

Both the bird shots are great. The pose of the bluebird is wonderful set against that blue sky. I don't know how you were able to get the ptarmigan's head still while the feathers were blurred in motion, but that is awesome!

Really nice shots.#2 is my favorite due to the behavior of the bird.

Great shots. Congrats!

After all these years, I've still not gotten an acceptable shot of a male mountain bluebird.

Exactly what Morris said!
More professional caliber work that I so enjoy viewing here.

All three kill! I was surprised how well hte blue on blue worked out, and the still of the bird's head in the second one, and those nose plugs look like they hurt in the third.

Great stuff Dan. I really like the blue on blue with the first shot...it is unique. The motion of the second is vero cool and of course the action in the last shot is awesome! Nice work!
