Hi Dale,

Very nice! The perch looks a little over flashed, but I guess that can't be helped.

Cheers,

Lewis.

I saw this at work earlier and thought I didn't like it...but on arrival at home on a better monitor it looks much better. Its nice to see the detail of the web-ing at the lower levels of the perch too...The green look a tad strong but I'm guessing this is the light it was taken in.

Some excellent detail standing out against a fine BG. I especially like the strands of web.

great detail and nicely composed Dale. The only slight nit I would have is that the flash (or ambient light) looks a bit harsh, but everything else works very nicely.

Hi Dale,

Nice to see an alternative angle. Most images of this subject that I see are taken of the back ( plan view ). This shows the head and body very well by comparison.

Cheers

Nice to see a different viewpoint as mentioned.
( If it was a BBC shot it would have just been taken out of a mist net along with two Dartfords and a Nightjar :frown: )

Keep coming back to this to look at the balance of the flash/ambient light. I agree with Matt that the stem is a little bright but overall (with a tweek) I'd be happy with it in my stock. NIce work.

Cheers,
Chris
