Been working on my new project. In this den there are 5 cubs. All different characters. Last night I sat there for the first time with my camera. They came about an hour to early because the light was still quite harsh. But enjoyed the moment anyway.

iso 200 1/160 sec f/4 Nikon D3s and Nikon 200-400/4 full frame

You cant beat a fox cub on an old tree stump-lovely comp and the yellow flowers top the scene off nicely

Very sweet with a strong composition, the yellow plant foreground helps it. :toast:

Very cute and well composed Edwin.

A happy evening spent watching these with the camera, I would imagine.

Thanks a lot guys. The yellow flowers are actually Bilberry but the harsh light have made them look yellow. Fingers crossed for some good light the next few days.

cheers,

Absolutely brilliant!

I think the way the light has hit the bilberry really compliments the rim light of the cub.

A very nice image, Edwin. I particularly like the composition. Shooting from that position, you are going to need a little cloud cover to stop those highlights from burning out.

Hi Ed,

Looks like we are both working on Foxes at the moment... Lovely shot of this little fellow!
Though somewhat harsh i ike the backlight effect.
Well done getting him upon the tree stump like that.

greetings,

I want to live where you live :toast: Though I doubt I'd be able to do such a marvellous job as the one you've done here, Edwin
