Reef B&W
A black and white canyon image from my recent trip to Capitol Reef.

C&C welcome and thanks for looking.

Ooohhh....I like this far better than the color version you posted here, Jeff!
The contrast, tones and detail are outstanding and were really well hidden in the color version. The slight change in composition is better, too.
How 'bout you...which one do you prefer?

Fantastic tonal range! This is really nice, Jeff. Way beyond the color version.

yes, much better in B&W!

I liked the color version, but this is better IMO. Looks great and I'd love to see a print.

Had to go back and see your color image. Another vote in favor of the B&W. It is easier for me to see the lines, texture and shapes in this one.

Perfecto! I knew this would look killer in B&W! Excellent work.

Ditto on what everyone else said, love the B&W! :toast:

Thanks.

John - I prefer this comp and the B&W. I tried to post this in the original post, but it wouldn't upload for some reason. I have a series of different comps all leading up to this one which I felt was the best. It's kind of cool to see the procession of the creative process through a series of images. I think it's my favorite image from the journey.

The black and white version is beautiful.

I LOVED this in color, but the b&w may be even better. Wow, now that is pretty cool.

I'll just ditto Joshua. Great movement.
