Ho-Hum, Another Sangres Pano
This one isn't a multi-image stitch, it's just a crop from a single frame. When I headed this way a few weekends ago during a storm, I miscalculated my departure time and barely made it here in time for first light. I kinda had to take what I could get, and what I got was a fairly featureless grassy meadow for a lead-in. Hence, the crop job.

A slightly larger version is HERE. I didn't make this one another mondo pano because I think it looks better as one single view rather than having to pan back and forth across a 3000-pixels-wide version.

Real pretty, and the fg is good enough. I think id warm up the WB just a bit so the fog isnt quite that blue, but thats just a personal preference.

You're at it again with the clouds. Maybe you should hold a workshop and those of us who come will be guaranteed great clouds and fog. I like this a lot, Todd. Stan makes a good point about the blue.

Loos pretty darn good to me!

Cool but inviting - nice. The upper lh corner seems a little too blue but the overall feel is great.

Looks really good. Feels cool, but the soft, warm light in the clouds help make this an inviting image. A good feeling of depth going down the ridge line as each layer stands out. I wouldn't change it. But if the shadows on the left side are bothersome to others and you agree maybe a crop to eliminate the first peak?

Now that is some sweet light!

Wow, this is cool! I don't mind the cool blue coupled with the hint of pink. I like the little hints of scale in this - cattle, fence, tiny trees in the snow.

Great shot - liked the cloud and the wonderful color out there.

Great comp, and you got to love the clouds.

I hope this was taken a few weeks ago. If not, it looks like it'll be a while before I get to backpack up there.

And its a really nice shot that I wouldn't mind having in my catalog.

Todd,

I find that stretch of the Sangres tough to photograph, but you've done it very well here. Love the fence, cloud and lighting.

Great comp, light, and colors. Thanks for posting.

Nothing ho-hum about this. That's light I'd certainly welcome any day. Yea, maybe a little blue as Stan said, but I don't think you're too far off as far as color balance goes.
