Hi Phil
The bird is spot on but I wonder about the portrait format ?Tried landscape or were you shooting vertical? ? The white Phragmites stems are a bit eye grabbing but no big deal.
Just my opinion.
Cheers

Nice shot Phil I think that it could do with a tad more saturation.

The bird does look good but I share John's opinion of the stems.

Nice bird Phil but a shame about the amount of stems in the image. They do take away somewhat from the bird.

Phil I like this a lot. To my (less than expert) eye the exposure, composition are spot on and personally I like the multiple stems and do not feel they detract from the subject and place it nicely in its natural habitat. The only very minor query for me would be whether a tad more room on the right would benefit. The tones are great.
