Reed Warbler
700mm f7.1 1/1250 iso400 FF - Annoying stem cloned out

Hi all

These reed warblers have been leading me a merry dance for about a fortnight now - my strike rate on them is incredibly low considering the number of hours I've invested!
Still, here's one that I'm quite pleased with from this morning. Hopefully I've finally turned a corner on them

A sliver off left and the lower left high removed .minor nits .that stalk , it wouldn't have been protruding from its bonce would it ?Its been cleverly removed if it was....smart image all round and def worth the efforts . :toast:

Agree with MD over comp and the HL lower left.

I was wondering where the two visible stalks behind the bird were going to as well Simon - great clone job - NOW DO THE REST

If you start now you might just be finished in time for the World Cup final

Nice delicate image Simon :toast:

Stem out of bonce it certainly was! You'd think after going to the trouble of cloning out the stalk I'd have gone to work on that highlight in the corner as well   I'll put it down to lager!
Glad of the comp suggestions - I was unsure about it.

I like it, nits covered, I'd more than likely have shot this portrait though!

You know how it works, Nigel, if I'd had the camera set vertical then the Warbler would have undoubtedly landed side on!
