Hi Kieth
Nice nettle creeper !
Always a bit difficult with any bird head on. But I just can't make my mind up about the background. Not much you can do unless you put a screen up. :toast: :toast: :jump:
Cheers
John

A nice image Keith but the background I think could do with toning down a little which shouldn't be a problem. I might also be tempted to rub a little mud on the broken end of the perch.

I think that if you take the bottom off, up to the point where the perch switches from running vertically to horizontally, the composition would be stronger. I agree about the cut-off end needing to be disguised or ideally, not shown in the composition. I really like the shaggy bird though :toast:

It's a really good image that is spoilt by that perch, the broken end jars the eye and it makes the image look set up, a real shame because otherwise it has lots going for it!

Thanks for that folks it was intentional to have the yellow bg maybe as the flowers fade it will tone down but if i can get it when the light is right it looks good, having said that i was pleased to get this bird out into the open and on to this perch i will be more careful with the end of the perch thanks Maggie
:toast: Keith.
