My best capture from the lightning storm over Denver and the front range tonight. Warning! View in IE because Firefox makes the image look garish!

Sorry, can't post an image for another 24 hrs so you'll have to click, trust me, it's worth it!

I dont have to trust you, Jason, ill check out any shot involving lightning
Great catch! Glad you had some success, its been pretty quiet down here but that should change tomorrow and probably tue-wed as well. Id crop the left side of your shot since theres a lot of black sky there. Thanks for sharing! :wavey:

Well that's certainly menacing! I agree with Stan on the crop, since there's nothing going on over on the left side anyhow.

That's excellent. I like the contrast of pure white light and the warm lights from town. Ditto on the crop.

Sweet. Perfect color on this. Looks good in Google Chrome too.

Very nice shot you captured there (and looks just fine in Firefox).

Awesome shot..also agree with others on a tighter crop.

Gah you couldn't pay me to install IE =P Course I'm on a linux box at the moment anyway.

Either way, looks fine to me in fox and chrome - maybe you've got a setting messed up somewhere? Awesome shot!

Sweet shot! I saw this storm driving home last night and was wishing I had my camera...

Crop or not, this is awesome!

Very nice looking shot. I am in the crop camp as well so that the storm gets more emphasis.

On a side, this image looks like it has several strikes. This must have been a very active storm.

Amazing shot! I like the layering of the clouds and how the lightning strikes are right where the rain is coming down. Great work!

I was watching this from my house and now am kicking myself for not going out. Nice shot.

Wow! Reminds me of War of the Worlds...some alien ship in a protective bubble...sweet shot!

Very impressive!

Thanks for all the comments! I was really excited to capture this and the image drove over 1000 image views to my website!

Here is a tighter crop of the image. Let me know what you think but I don't want to go any closer as I'll lose foreground or have to adjust the aspect ratio.
