Hi,

Just a very simple image from the weekend, taken on Saturday when it was very warm and the light was harsh... this image was made possible by diffusing that bright light and keeping an eye on the bg so that it didn't overpower the main subject...

For a change, no mush

Cheers Phil...

I am the first to admit my ID skills on plants and wild flowers does leave a lot to be desired... Fran will tell you I am just as bad with common garden plants....

you've diffused the light very well Phil and the background is very complementary. I think I might prefer it with the stem straight. A simple but very effective image.

A very simple shot Phil but a very pleasing one :toast:

Lovely contrast between the flower and the rest of the picture

Just goes to show that even the commonest subject can be turned into a great photo by a good photographer.
