hi all sorry to be a PS bore, but in PS CS I it was possible to
assign a colour profile in image/mode/assign profile, but that
option seems to have disappeared in vII, can anyone tell me how
i now do it in CS II ????

also, in the file information menu, i seem to be now confronted with great lists of scientific blurb and seem to need a degree in mathematics to decipher the aperture rating...any pointers?

regards,

mark.

To assign a colour profile in CS2....

Edit->Assign Profile

BTW - are you really sure you're meaning to assign the profile? Are you sure you don't want to Convert to profile (Edit->Convert to Profile)?

Nick is right, BTW assign profile is very useful if you do not wish to crunch any pixels during editing before final conversion to your output profile..

File Info > Camera Data 1 (if I recall right) should give you an easy to understand tab of shooting data.

All the best
