I'm psyched. Thanks for the heads up, Nat.

Don't forget if you are a member of some organizations you can get a discount at the Adobe store as well.

I installed the upgrade last night and converted my master LR2 catalogue - 52,000 images. I also converted all files to the 2010 Process. That took a little while, but most of the time was spent processing the previews.

Everything went smoothly, after I changed 1 setting on my browser permissions to allow their download manager to function. The download wouldn't start, but I had no error messages, so that took about 45 minutes of reading and fiddling to resolve.

Am I correct that there is not a global option to "Enable Profile Corrections - auto" for existing files? Writing and applying a preset is not a big deal, but I just wanted to check first.

Bill - correct, no global option but you can store that in a preset, or maybe more ideally, override the Lightroom Default with your own settings.

Thanks for the confirmation, Nat. That is what I have done. I actually prefer to have the vignette correction default as zero, in most cases.

I'm looking forward to your new Lightroom 3 book in July.

The beta is awesome so I can't wait to import all my LR2 once my computer is working again.
