Bisti Over Memorial Day Weekend
Over memorial day weekend I had the pleasure of going to Bisti. What an amazing place. I think that I could be happy there shooting there every day for a month but still only have scratched the surface. The landscape is so utterly foreign to me but I gave it my best. Here are some of the images I liked from the trip.

That color in the first is amazing! The rocks look so unreal.

#4 - Egg Factory - On this I cheated, I have a "Magic" blue and gold polarizer which does amazing things to this grey clay and sandstone.

Pam the night shot of the wings was at 17mm, ISO 6400 for 25 seconds. I printed it 13x20 and it looks OK but not great.

#14 - Fake Night. This one I used some artistic intrepretation. This was shot at 7pm but I turned my WB down to about 3000k to have this blue almost night effect. I am not sure about it but I like it. C&C is appreciated.

That's quite a set, Jim. It's definitely the best collection from a first time visit that I have seen.

Great stuff Jimmie, I am still going through my stuff and will get to it as soon as I get my Croatia, IT, NZ and NYC stuff done (LOL).

It was an awesome trip and my 1st time sleeping under the stars. Thanks Jim and Scott!

I won't pick a favorite, but I will say the comp on "Gene Simmons" is wonderful and I do love the night images.

Fantastic! Really like #1 and #3!

An excellent series! It's easiest for me to pick the one I don't like, which is #14.
Love the evening images, esp. #'s 3 & 9. The gold 'n' blue polarizer did a surprisingly good job there with #4!
What ISO speeds did you use for your evening work?
