An image taken over a week ago when out on the Mendips at one of my favourite haunts. I think this is Crambus perlella but with some many different species, I can't be absolutely sure.

C&C welcome, particularly re the composition

Superb image. Very interesting subject.

Composition is fine, although a little tight at the bottom. Maybe benefit from moving slightly to the left of frame so the major space is to the right of the moth.

Agree with Rob's comments, but no big deal . Still a good enough shot.

Hi Heath,

Rob has hit the nail on the head with his comments re composition. Colours are very good though and a great subject matter !

very well taken Heath a lovely sharp shot with lots of detail. A nice looking moth too. I would agree about there being a bit too much space on the left.

Hi

Thanks for the comments and the points regarding composition, I have to agree with whats being said, whilst I was not wanting it to be too central, it is a bit too far to the right, could probably do with being fractionally less large in the frame too.

regards
