Flora-Clematis buds
Yakima has been experiencing Western Washington wet weather. The sun peeked out a bit allowing this shot.

Really nice Jim. The way the overall darkness emphasizes the edge lighting works well. I love the detail in the hairs. Remind me, what's the sun again?

nice job with the backlighting, this works very well

I love this. It is so unusual, but I know immediately what it is. Great work Jim. If it were me, I'd probably clone out the angled stem in the background, or darken it as it seems to pull my eye away from the subject.

This would also look awesome in B&W.

Nice capture with the backlighting. I would agree with a try at B&W and maybe add a little more contrast to bring out the "hairs" more. IMO.

Great control of the light here. I really like the back lighting.
