After weeks of gray rainy weather it looks like things are finally looking up in southern Oregon. I can't remember a spring where the March weather extended all the way into June. Needless to say, I was psyched when the clouds parted a bit the other day and let some sunset light through. Sunsets like this in the Rogue Valley are pretty rare. The forecast for the workshop I'm doing with David Cobb in the redwoods this weekend is also good, so winter might finally be taking a hike this time.
Geez, Sean, what a blast of color. Very very cool. We were down your way a couple of weeks ago and stayed at the Tu Tu Tin Lodge in Gold Beach. Fantastic place right on the Rogue. Of course it rained the whole time we were there.
Nice and vibrant colors, Sean. I like how the clouds are highlighted by the sunset and the water picking up the colors as well. Nice capture, considering the dull weather you had to deal with.
