Evening folks,

I haven't posted in a while but I thought I'd share this hare with you after Simon's cracking portrait.

I've never shot hares before so I was quite excited to come across several whilst researching foxes.

They seem to be quite an accommodating species letting you get fairly close before darting away. I looked into removing the big yellow buttercup head from the body but as usual it ended up looking really unnatural.

More on my blog.

Cheers,

Chris

Lovely image. The oof yellow flowers really add to the image, but a little bit more room at the bottom would be nice.

Hi Chris

I can see where Sandra is coming from about the compostition but it is still a good image, particularly because of the dynamism the alert, upright pose adds. Great habitat too.

Cheers,
Chris

The pose captured tell's a story for me and makes the image IMO,I like the splash of colour from the flowers and would leave them in too   :wavey:

The pose is fine for me but I would tone down the OOF flower heads and remove the one over the Hares body,
