Snow Bunting on rock
Snow Bunting shot through foreground grass...I was borrowing a friends camera and lens for about 10 minutes. The image has been cropped so that about 70% of the original exists.

Lovely shot Ian. The 'mush' in the foreground and the diffused background work well for being the same colour. The colour of the rock complements the bird's plumage and the whole thing is topped off with the feather shake pose. Congrats.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Ian,

Great behaviour shot. Maybe a tad central for me but no great shakes ( no pun intended!) :toast:

definitely one of the better snow bunting shots that I've seen Ian. The colours and composition work very well. A lovely shot.

Great behaviour caught. really like the colours but not sure about the 'mush' in front. if you look at the mush its over powering but when looking at the bird the mush seems to dissapear so undecided at the moment. Great shot and the rock is a great perch! :toast:
