I've been out of the area for about a month and am now trying to catch up on all the posted images...WOW. Anyway, I thought I'd head out this morning and do a little fly fishing on the East Carson. It was great getting out and seeing the river full bore, high water, murky and lots of cubic feet second flow. Needless to say, not worth fishing, yet. I found this group of adventurers putting in at Hangman's Bridge so went down stream to find a good vantage point for a couple of shots. This is nothing fancy, but somebody was "catching" something, they looked to be having a good time. The weather was scattered showers and broken clouds, cold too.

neat shot Reno! The water flows this season are something else! Ya weird weather here too, felt and looked like fall yesterday.

That does look like a lot fun. Lots of popping color to go with the action.

Hey Reno,

Great catch! This looks like it could be included in those old slide sets of rafting the Colorado you might get at a visitor's center... The muddy water certainly doesn't look to great for fishing though.
