It's my bath time !
Great Skua's at a bathing pool on Yell, Shetland (during heavy, prolonged rain that proved to me that a certain brand of clothing described as 'Waterproof' isn't quite how I'd describe it.....)

(n.b., not something I usually do, but I've cloned out a Skua that was lurking behind the displaying bird).

MKIII, 500mm + 1.4x, f5.6, 1/400

excellent shot, good behaviour and nice soft lighting, the rain really enhances the feel of course too

I like the interaction here, and the image is nicely complimented by the rain. Hope you didn't get too wet!

Graham, I really like this and the choice to clone out the bird behind has worked as the displaying Skua really stands out well from the background. Well done

Hi Graham,

Hats off to you for being honest about the cloning. You did a great job of it! Lovely image action well caught and very atmospheric. :toast: :toast:
