Young Moose
Got this young bull moose last night while he was dining on Sheep Lakes finest greens. First moose I've seen on this side of the park in the five years I've been coming here!!

Whow, very unusual capture for the East side.

Wow, great find and capture, Mike!

Great expression on his face. Let me ask you, wouldn't you rather live on the east side of the Divide, instead of amongst all those ugly, dead, brown trees? Despite the inevitable encroachment of beetle kill to the east, it's still prettier there. This is one smart moose!

One of the better moose shots I've seen here. They don't need to have huge racks, just a strong comp and good light.

Wow Bill finds them in Sprague Lake last month and now this one. Maybe they are moving over to the East side. Nice shot.

Great catch, Mike. I've never seen a moose in this part of the park.

Excellent!
Love the fact that you got a catch light in its eye and it turned around to face you.
