Taken earlier today all c&c welcome
Nikon d300 nikon 105mmvr macro &1.4tc f14 1/40th tripod and remote release, mirror up
cropped and small amount cloning on background. :cool: :smile:

nice shot, great colours and detail, would look better with more depth of field i think but you are already at f14 so am not sure what you could do

DoF is always going to be minimal... short of stacking which may not have been an option you would not get any more... I like the idea and think that perhaps a closer crop (or preferably moving in closer) would have helped just to emphasis the focus on the eye...

I fully appreciate the technical difficulties getting this type of shot but I'm afraid this just doesn't work for me Shaun.
