Young Grebe
Hello all, I went to a local patch after work to see if the Grebes were around. I caught sight of this youngster screaming to be fed, which it duly was, with a huge trout! I wish I could have got a lower POV, but it just wasn'nt possible I'm afraid.

Canon EOS 7D, sigma 150-500mm lens.

f5.6, ISO 200, 1/800sec, @289mm.

Thanks for looking! :wavey:

Looks good to me Paul :toast:

A lower POV would have been better for alas not always possible, I might have removed the flies on the water.

No disrespect to Ian, but I personally like to see the flies on the water. It's a nice shot that few of us including myself would turn down even with this slightly elevated PoV, but for me it really just lacks that spark that would really make it.
