I like the idea of the Fulmar in their habitat but there is a lot of space at the top RHS that doesn't really add anything for me and almost dominates the rest of the image. Only my opinion of course but it looks like a great setting.
Viewed large it looks amazing IMO I love how you have captured life for these birds within this habitat, where two birds are content on sitting on eggs I presume and the other pair are greeting each other, either changing over or feeding, really tells a story for me Des,wonderful image
I like the way that despite having bags of detail all over the frame, the eye is still drawn to the pair of birds and the way that the small landslip also leads the eye across and down to them. Very well-observed, Des and especially clever to pick this tableau from among acres of similar views. eric
I love the way you have captured the essence of the Fulmars in their nesting environment. The diamond shape of the line of the landslip and of the birds helps the eye stay in the image. The sensitivity of the pair of Fulmars greeting each other is icing on the cake.
I really like this Des. I find my eye drawn to the two fulmers. and you want to look around to see what else you can see. the thrift really adds nicely also.
