Last Night's Crescent
Haven't been able to shoot much lately, but last night was a classic Arizona moonset, and Venus just happen to come along for the ride. Nothing mind-blowing, just loosening the rusty gears and starting to shoot more (again). Feel like the Tin Man...

Saw this exact scene, color and all, walking out of the grocery last night. Glad someone got it ;)

Like the colors in the sky and the foreground elements. Very nice.

I really like the colors, Paul, but I'm not fond of that tree on the right. Did you get a comp with just that cactus as a foreground element?

Ditto on the colors. :toast:

Double ditto on the colors.

Thanks gang... as far as colors, the skies sure make it easy around here.

Paul, I didn't happen to catch a version without the bulbous tree, but I see what you mean. Hmmmmm, do I try the new content-aware healing brush in CS5 on that...

Nope, I'll just go for a better comp next month! I took this image on my street, in our cul-de-sac... I'll see if the neighbor will cut that tree down for me.
