Yellow-billed Loon in Fairbanks
As the not-very-good photo shows, there's an adult Yellow-billed Loon in Fairbanks. If you'd like directions to see it, email me privately.

Wow, those white areas really "pop". The composition then brings one's eyes to the bill.

Great edges--clairity.

Good composition.

Keep 'em coming.

The Loon is looking better and, as of 10 AM on June 20, 2010, alive and well and still in Fairbanks.

I'm sorry to report that the Yellow-billed Lon was found dead Friday morning. It may have been killed by a fox. I hope some of you, at least, got to see it while it was alive.
