Winter Park Wildflowers
Let's try this again... I'm heading to Winter Park for the weekend. Anyone know of any good spots/trails there for wildflower shots?

If you're going this weekend, I'm thinking Winter Park is at too high an elevation to have much if anything in the way of wildflowers this early. Lower elevations along the Front Range are probably the best bet for wildflowers right now.

Winter is still in the process of leaving the mountain areas of Colorado. Nighttime lows are in the 40's-50's and daytime highs have gotten into the 70's. Here, in Woodland Park, at 8500ft elevation, we are starting to see some blue penstemmon (the Pasque flowers bloomed in May and are now gone), and some small mountain bluebells as well as dandelions and a few paintbrush. The penstemmon should be looking really good in about 10 days.

Like the way the light is coming through the pedals. Very nice!
