A visit to the local nature reserve whilst out looking for new flowers I found myself out testing the 100mm macro lens. I found a bee sleeping in a pasque flower and thought I would be able to produce a pleasing shot.
1d4, 100mmf2.8, iso400 / cleaned the background of a couple of grass stalks.
Could perhaps do with a tad more DOF Ian, and the sleeping part isn't immediately obvious. Just my 2p's worth of course. The colour palette is vibrant enough though, and it looks to be a sharp lens too.
