For a vast, seldom-visited grassland there sure are a lot of forum members posting images from here. I was there on Wednesday evening. Great minds think alike I guess.
One from the trail under the west butte at the time of the closest thing I got to a sunset Wednesday.
These are nice! I like the pronghorn shot a lot, and that last one pretty much defines "Pawnee sky."
Funny, I saw no one in my brief time there, but, like you say, there's an awful lot of us going out there recently. I was also surprised at how devoid of anything blooming the place was. It's fairly green, but not much else going on.
Love the light and color in that first image. Nice light as well on the pronghorn image. Like Todd said, you do not see anyone there, but I was there that night shooting some owls.

I always like the storm clouds you Colorado guys get from there. Nice pronghorn, they seem hard to get without their butt showing. Nice series.
These are great, Josh! Ive been up there storm chasing, but no time to really stop (i did stop at the paint mines though--will post some soon). The lead shot is the best here, but id brighten it a little bit.

Fine light, skies and that pronghorn is just excellent!
