Ok, so this is Roxborough, not Pawnee. Just thought we all might like to see something a little different. I took this yesterday morning. No sky to work with at all! But the lupines are rockin'!
Comments and critiques are always welcome, and thank you for looking,
Gorgeous scene, Morris! No nits whatsoever.
I like the fact that there aren't any flowers in the lower left corner, and I can't figure out why.
Who cares anyway, right? .

Awesome flowers and an overall image! Not being form there I first thought it was from the backside of the GOG. For some reason I haven't really tried to get many wildflower pics, but I got a few local locations in mind to give it more of a go this summer. Nice work Morris.
Thanks for your time and comments everyone. Todd, o.k. this really is from Pawnee. The south side.
John, I cropped the foreground and a touch of sky to get this version and I couldn't bring myself to crop any more of it. I thought the bare patch repeated the colors of the rocks on top and I didn't want to lose the flowers on the bottom right, so I left it. I have an alternate comp at M&N. Let me know if you like that one better.
Jeff, good luck with your wilflower shots!
Nice work Morris. Like this composition better than the M&N. Perhaps it is what appears to me to be a lower viewing angle. Or maybe the lupines and ground up front provide a leading line back towards the rocks on the left before going farther back to the right along the rocks. Very pleasing colors. Well done.

Very very nice stuff Morris! Reminds me I need to get out there. I live close by and always forget about heading out because of the hours they are open.
